Woodland Hills, CA Allumination FilmWorks announces the DVD release of Baby Blues, a startling horror-thriller about a family blown apart by violence, on August 5, 2008. In the vein of The Shining, Psycho and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Baby Blues is from up and coming directors Amardeep Kaleka and Lars Jacobson and stars Colleen Porch (Transformers) and Ridge Canipe.

Inspired by true events, Baby Blues tells the terrifying tale of a 10-year-old boy, Jimmy (Ridge Canipe), who is forced to protect his siblings from an inescapable and unspeakable evil that threatens them on their once tranquil, secluded family farm. With her husband gone and the stress of family life rising, Mom (Colleen Porch) suffers a psychotic breakdown which blurs her perception of reality and right from wrong.. Now hope for the familys survival rests on the shoulders of Jimmy, the eldest and surrogate man of the house. Using his wits and intricate knowledge of the farm, Jimmy must try to protect his siblings and himself from an unexpected terror.

The Baby Blues DVD includes a behind-the-scenes documentary, a trailer and optional Spanish sub-titles.
